The Art Gallery at The 567

The gallery is open 11 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Admission is free. The artwork changes monthly, with the opening reception for the new exhibit every First Friday, 6-9 pm. If you’d like to schedule a special tour for your group, let us know–we would be happy to accommodate you. Want to take a piece of art home with you? The work in most of our exhibits is available for purchase.

Currently on Exhibit: A Long Look (October 2-30)

The October exhibit at The 567 will be “A Long Look,” featuring photography by Terrell Clark and Matt Odom. Atlanta photographer Terrell Clark will be displaying his series, “3 Feet Above Sea Level,” which is a photographic journey of the French Quarter in New Orleans. In order to capture the essence of this historic neighborhood, Clark took all of the photos using a pinhole camera, resulting in a dreamlike effect. Macon photographer Matt Odom will be displaying his portraits which seem to tell a story in one image.

Join us First Friday (October 2), 6-9 pm, to see the new exhibit, meet Matt Odom, and enjoy light refreshments. Terrell Clark is unable to attend the opening, but you can meet him and learn more about his photographic techniques at an artist talk on October 10 at 6 pm. Both events are free.
