Caroline Aiken will be performing with her trio at The 567 on April 12.
Aiken is a prolific songwriter who has been making a career of music for 44 years. Her bluesy voice, masterful finger picking guitar style and hypnotic stage presence made her the artist of choice to open for such diverse music legends as Arlo Guthrie, Muddy Waters, Doc Watson, Bonnie Raitt, Randy Newman, Little Feat, Beach Boys, Richie Havens and many others. She also has influenced and mentored many young musicians during her career, including Shawn Mullins and the Indigo Girls. More recently, Aiken performed on NPR’s nationally-syndicated radio show MOUNTAIN STAGE.
Doors open at 7:30, show starts at 8 pm. A cash bar (beer & wine only) will be provided by Downtown Grill for this event.
