Art Classes

We have art classes for kids through adults, and most of our classes are designed with beginners and novices in mind. Join us for a fun night out creating art! All of our adult classes are BYOB. Introduction to Drawing

In this 4-week beginners’ drawing class, you’ll learn to draw a variety of subjects, including still lifes, people, and landscapes, using the basic elements of drawing. By gaining this basic toolbox of knowledge used by artists, you’ll increase your confidence in any artistic endeavor. You may be surprised just how relaxing drawing can be! This class meets on Wednesday evenings, 7:00-9:00 pm, starting Sept. 16. (The last class will be Oct. 5.) The cost is $80 for the 4-week class and includes all supplies. Ages 16 and up.

Corks & Canvas

Corks & Canvas is a fun, beginner-friendly painting workshop where you can relax, hang out with friends (or make new ones!), and sip on your favorite bottle of wine (or other beverage) while a local artist teaches you how to recreate a beautiful 11 x 14 painting to hang on your wall or give to a friend or family member. No painting experience required. $25 includes all materials (except your favorite beverage). The workshops start at 7 pm and last two and a half hours.

To reserve your spot, register online by clicking the image of the painting for the date of your choice. You may also register over the phone at (478) 238-6051 or in person at The 567. If you are coming with a group of 4 or more, please let us know so we may reserve a table for your group. For groups of 10 or more, please consider booking a private party at no extra charge so we may best accommodate you.

Kool-Aid & Canvas

At Kool-Aid & Canvas, an artist takes children age 6-12 step-by-step through the process of creating a fun painting with acrylic paints on a real canvas. The students learn a variety of painting techniques to inspire them in their own creative endeavors. These monthly workshops start at 10 am and last an hour and a half. $20 includes all materials for the class and a snack.

Drink & Ink

Bring a bottle of your favorite wine or other beverage to sip on, bring a friend, and learn to create a 9 x 12 painting using ink and watercolor. No painting experience required. Artist Casie Trace will guide you through the steps. $25 includes all materials for the class (except the drinks). The class begins at 7 pm, and lasts two and a half hours.

Drinks & Doodles

Join us for a relaxing night of turning simple doodles into beautiful artwork. No artistic talent required! People of any skill level can enjoy drawing beautiful pictures using easy, repetitive patterns. $25 includes all materials. The workshop starts at 7 pm and lasts two and a half hours. Bring the beverage of your choice, and let your creativity flow.

Private Classes

Looking for a unique way to celebrate a special occasion or an unusual outing for your group? We offer Corks & Canvas (for adults) or Koolaid & Canvas (for kids) at The 567 for private groups of 10-24 adults (or 8-15 kids).
