Corks & Canvas
Corks & Canvas is a fun, beginner-friendly painting workshop where you can relax, hang out with friends (or make new ones!), and sip on your favorite bottle of wine (or other beverage) while a local artist teaches you how to recreate a beautiful 11 x 14 painting to hang on your wall or give to a friend or family member. No painting experience required. $25 includes all materials (except your favorite beverage). The workshops start at 7 pm and last two and a half hours.

Kool-Aid & Canvas
Kool-Aid & Canvas
At Kool-Aid & Canvas, an artist takes children age 6-12 step-by-step through the process of creating a fun painting with acrylic paints on a real canvas. The students learn a variety of painting techniques to inspire them in their own creative endeavors. On October 11, Jondrea Randall will teach a painting. The workshop starts at 10 am and lasts an hour and a half. $20 includes all materials for the class and a snack. The subject is still to be decided, but we are already taking sign-ups for the class.
To register your child online, please give us their name and click the “Pay Now” button below. Or, you can contact Melissa Macker at (478)238-6051 or email@example.com.
Sketching Your Surroundings
One of the most basic skills an artist can have is to learn to sketch their surroundings. For the casual artist, it can also be a fun, relaxing activity. In this two-and-a-half-hour workshop, Beth Smith will teach an introduction to sketching using charcoal. Instead of being in the classroom, the group will walk around downtown Macon and do quick sketches of 2 or 3 different landmarks. Oct. 11, 3:00-5:30 pm. The cost of the workshop is $15. Students may bring their own sketchbook or purchase one from The 567 for an additional $10. Charcoal is provided. Wear good walking shoes.
Looking for a unique way to celebrate a special occasion or an unusual outing for your group? We offer Corks & Canvas or Koolaid & Canvas at The 567 for private groups of 10-20 people.
